Terms & Conditions

By entering your credit card and booking this cruise online you agree to the following terms and conditions of glaciercruises.com and the supplier that you are traveling with. Glacier cruises is acting as intermediary and agent for suppliers in selling services, or in accepting reservations for services which are not directly supplied by this agency (such as cruises, air carriage, hotel accomodations, ground transortation, meals, tours, etc.). This agency, therefore, shall not be responsible for breach of contract or any intentional or careless actions or omissions on the part of such suppliers, which results in any loss, damage, delay, or injury to you or your travel companions or group members.

Most cruise lines will not allow pregnant passengers who will enter their 26th week of pregnancy while on the ship. Please inform your travel consultant before booking your cruise. Passenger names must match the identification used for travel. It is mandatory that all documentation reflect the complete legal names. Please allow 3 business days for processing any changes i.e. insurance, cancellations, additions, etc. Price adjustments are not available after final payment has been made and is at the discretion of the cruise line.

Passport & Travel Document Information

Proof of Citizenship/Travel Requirements: Starting December 31, 2006, the United States government is introducing new passport rules. 1. By December 31, 2006, passports will be required for all air and sea travel to and from the Caribbean, Bermuda, and Central and South America. 2. By December 31, 2006, passports will be required for all air and sea travel to and from Canada and Mexico. 3. By December 31, 2007, passports or other accepted travel documents will be required for all land border crossings as well as air and sea travel. 4. By January 1, 2008, all Americans departing and returning to the United States will be required to have a valid U.S. passport. Please visit http://travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738.html for updated passport information.

Children over the age of 16 are required to have a photo ID (government issued, or student ID are usually acceptable), with all passengers 18 and over requiring a government issued photo ID. In certain cases a passport is absolutely necessary for travel, ie. Europe, Asia, South America, certain Hawaii sailings, etc. Marriage certificates or legal name change documentation will be required for anyone with identification where last names do not match. Non U.S. citizens must contact their country's governmental embassy or consulate concerning specific travel documentation requirements. It is your responsibility to be sure you have the correct identification needed for your particular vacation. Certain countries do require visas for entry and exit. Be sure to check what visas may be needed.

Cruise Line Pre-registration

Most cruise lines now require all passengers to pre-register for their cruise prior to sailing. This can be done directly on the cruise lines website. The Reservation Code listed on the confirmation is the cruise lines reservation/confirmation number.

Payments

Deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit will be charged automatically with the credit card entered while booking. Glacier cruises cannot be responsible for cancelled reservations due to declined credit cards, debit cards, exceeding daily limits, or if the cruise line rejects the credit card for any reason. Glacier cruise will try to reach the client at the phone number, or email address on file for other means of payment. The final payment date will be shown the invoice or the confirmation.

Travel Insurance

It is strongly recommended: Travel insurance provides protection for the traveler in the event that the trip is cancelled due to certain circumstances (for specific inclusions/exclusions, please contact your Cruise Specialist for details of insurance).

Travel Insurance also protects in the event of most medical emergencies, and in some instances, pre-existing medical conditions. Some other benefits may include legal assistance, emergency medical evacuation, and travel document and ticket replacement assistance. The client is responsible for acknowledging that they choose to purchase Travel Insurance by purchasing it after booking the cruise online. If Travel Insurance is not purchased Glacier cruises assumes that you have declined Travel Insurance.

Documents:

Documents will be received approximately 7-10 days prior to travel date. It is the sole responsibility of the client to review and verify all information printed on the supplier's tickets, documents and/or accompanying literature. Thoroughly review the tickets in their entirety. Verify all passenger accommodations, ascertain that all names are correct and match the documentation that you will be using for identification. Many vendors require pre-registration forms completed online or via fax.

These forms must be completed prior to the vacation - it is your responsibility to make certain this has been done prior to your vacation. Suppliers may charge a substantial fee plus applicable fare increases for changes made after the tickets and/or documents are issued. Notify your Cruise Consultant immediately if changes or corrections are required.

Cancellation Policy

Glacier cruises will charge a cancellation fee of $100.00 per cabin/booking on all cruise travel or $100.00 for on all air or other travel arrangements. This fee is used to cover our administration costs in processing the cancellation and is in addition to any cancellation penalties charged by the supplier (cruise line, airline carrier or any other travel company). If the cancellation is due to a compassionate reason, we may offer a cruise credit certificate in the amount of the $100.00 cancellation fee, good towards a future re-booking
